Greg is a writer of young adult and paranormal novels.

Greg lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wonderful wife of over twenty years Shannon Sr..  He’s been blessed with three kids (Elizabeth, Rosey, and Alex).  Up until recently, they had an aging Golden Retriever named Kayci (unfortunately, she died).  His eldest daughter is in college at Hawaii, and his next child in Boston, while his youngest is in high school.

He received a bachelor’s degree at UCSD, in John Muir College.  He got a minor in Literature Writing, a major in Mathematics.  By an extraordinary stroke of luck, he met his wife on the first day of classes, a Thursday.  After they graduated, they moved to Ithaca NY, where he completed his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at Cornell University.

He started work at Intel Corp. in August 1993.  He’s now the software architect for the Intel(R) Math Kernel Library.  He sometimes write nonfiction in the area of numerical linear algebra.

He enjoys Taekwondo.  He got his fourth degree black belt in 2010.  His daughter Rosey got her second degree black belt in 2004.

Greg attempted his first novel in the fifth grade.  However, that project didn’t get past thirty thousand words of which fifteen thousand of them being adjectives (he had just discovered something called a Thesaurus).

He completed his first novel in 1991, this time keeping the adjectives in check. He’s now completed ten novels and has participated in a group novel project which is now published. As a dedicated writer, he puts aside time to write every day. He’s taken some writing courses at the local community college to enhance his skills. He’s joined writing groups. He volunteers at Willamette Writer’s conferences since 2009.
